Stolen breath

 

One afternoon i saw

The sunset glow

Paint the sky gold

As far winds flow

And dust clouds billow

 

On nights I dream

Of lights in masks

In dark red dusk

And stars that blink

From far away

I sigh and lay

 

I know it’s silly but

The silence where you

Once sighed whispers

Pulls my breath

To make a wish upon a star

‘Cause you’re just too far
